RyersOnline is the news portal for Ryerson University's School of Journalism and the product of a new program devoted to training online journalists.

For six weeks, students work with peers in the broadcast, newspaper and online programs to produce a news site which combines daily and current events reporting across media platforms.

Launched in September 2006, RyersOnline is led in 2008 by Gavin Adamson in collaboration with classes taught by Vinita Srivastava (online), Peter Bakogeorge (The Ryersonian), and Jagg Carr-Locke (broadcast).  Our publisher is Paul Knox, chair of the School of Journalism.
