Nuit Blanche 2007: Light Up the Night
|

This past weekend was Toronto’s second annual Scotiabank Nuit Blanche. From 7:03 p.m. to sunrise, hundreds of thousands of Torontonians swarmed the streets of Downtown Toronto. The event, described as “a free all-night contemporary art thing,” drew in a crowd of 425,000 in 2006, its inaugural year.
This year, with 195 installations, extended TTC service, ridiculous line-ups, and crowds in the wee hours of the morning, many are predicting attendance numbers that will exceed last year's.
RyersOnline was there.
