Most of the models Kristin Poon uses for her lingerie line, Cloven, are thin and young, holding dramatic poses and serious faces under strategic lighting and beautiful backdrops.
But one model stands out. She is striking, with her wide, genuine smile and casual stance. She looks different than the other models. She is shorter and older, but equally beautiful. She is Poon’s mother, and is also the inspiration behind Cloven.
Poon, 27, was only in Grade 4 when her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. One mastectomy and 17 years later, Poon’s mother is in remission.
