Jessica Rafuse is a fourth-year journalism student who is currently working as a news editor for the Ryersonian. She recently completed a six-week internship with the Globe and Mail and looks forward to pursuing a career in investigative journalism after she graduates.

Reviewing lecture material is as easy as downloading a song off ITunes for students in some classes where professors are experimenting with a pilot version of Apple’s popular file-sharing platform.
Using the same design platform as ITunes, ITunes U allows universities to upload educational media content in the form of podcasts to push lectures beyond the classroom.
Program director and electrical engineering professor Dimitri Androutsos records a lesson on a PC tablet. The recording shows him solving equations for his engineering students and also records his voice. The final product is converted so  students can use it anytime.
