Women’s hockey team wins again

The women’s hockey team continued its winning ways on the weekend with a 1-0 victory over the Brampton Cougars on Sunday. The Stingers have now won three of their last five games and are tied for third in their division with 10 points. The team will face the Newtonbrook Panthers on Nov. 30.

Bakovic leads team to victory

The men’s basketball team defeated the Laurier Golden Hawks on Nov. 22 by a score of 85-75. Boris Bakovic led the Rams with a team-high 35 points. Josh Budd also put on an impressive performance with seven rebounds and 12 points. The team is currently in fourth place in the OUA East. The Rams will host the Guelph Gryphons on Nov. 28 and the Brock Badgers on Nov. 29.

Men’s hockey team blanks Redmen 3-0

Ryerson’s men’s hockey team shut out the McGill Redmen 3-0 on Saturday in Montreal. Despite being outshot 31-22, the Rams managed to snap a two-game losing skid with the win. Michael Paolo, Brent Small and Josh McNair scored Ryerson’s goals, and goaltender Pierre Beaulieu earned the shutout. The team will host the Carleton Ravens on Nov. 28 at George Bell Arena.

Women’s B-ball team victorious

The women’s basketball team pulled off a big win as the Rams defeated the Laurier Golden Hawks 61-58 on Saturday. Rebecca Cox led the charge with a team-high 21 points, while Lacey O’Sullivan had six rebounds. The team will play Guelph on Saturday.
