Coming in at number four on the RyersOnline's Top 10 is the story of multiple athletic offical firings on February 20, 2007.
Interuniversity Sport Manager Terry Haggerty and Athletic Director David Dubois were dismissed for an apparent lack of leadership and direction and escorted from Ryerson's campus without warning.
Touted by former sports and recreation communications co-ordinator Adam Button as," the most successful coach and athletic administrator," the firings came as a surprise to most of the athletic department.
Marion Creery, director of student services, was responsible for firing Haggerty and Dubois. Creery declined to give reasons for her decision and referred all questions to the school’s media representatives.
